Brenna Hardman newest member of Chicago Ideas Week Co-op

Brenna Hardman, Founder of Buy Side Design (BSD), has been accepted as one of the newest Members of the Chicago Ideas Week 2014 Co-op, an ecosystem of 75 business leaders acting as the “new-age social chamber of commerce” in Chicago.

Chicago Ideas Week is a premier annual gathering of global thought leaders created to provoke new ideas and inspire actionable results. The organization’s goal is to stimulate new initiatives and ventures, create new connections and collaborations, and establish a community of people who have the desire to achieve great things. The events during Chicago Ideas Week include the famed “Edison Talks” which is a day-long gathering featuring presentations by world-renowned visionaries, designed to create connections among a curated audience of executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, and technologists.

On her acceptance to the group, Brenna says, “I am honored to take a leadership role within Chicago Ideas Week for 2014 and encourage everyone to come to the events. There are over 200 speakers and 100 Labs to choose from around Chicago. At CIW 2013, Reshma Saujana and Max Levchin encouraged me to code, Bing Gordon delivered an unforgettable poem about Chicago, David Kelley was in all of his IDEO glory, and Mario Batali revealed his recipe for an amazing customer experience. I made powerful connections at CIW 2013 and can not wait to see what this year has in store.”

CIW’s other creative partnerships include powerhouse players Leo Burnett and Edelman while recognizable sponsors from the financial industry include Grosvenor Capital Management and CME Group.
